When you use the free AI hair scan, the photos you take or upload and your answers to its questions are sent to OpenAI, our technology provider, to assess your pattern of hair loss and to create the 12-month simulation. We do not save your photos or the simulated images: they are processed only for the length of your scan and returned to your own screen. OpenAI may keep data sent to its service for up to 30 days to monitor for abuse, and does not use it to train its models.
